Borivali - Virar DC to AC conversion
Photos from historic day, when the Borivali (excl) to Virar section of Western Railway, Mumbai Division was successfully converted to AC traction. The fast lines were already under AC traction. Nice coverage. Good to see some part of WR becoming in AC traction. We will now go to Virar by only 9XX or Mrvc only. No more travel by Dc emu. Even in Dc power, BVI- VR run was good, but a major change will come, the day Dadar - Borivli stretch becomes...
