Well, Im sure we'll see these locos at Kalyan and also in Mumbai for some more time, as AC might not make it beyond Badlapur before next year I guess.

Abhishek, you are right. IRFCA FAQ mentions first DC locomotives were delivered in 1928, making it 82 years of service. My mistake.

I suppose its more than that. I think DC electrics came to Mumbai in 1930.....
