The Queen of the MG era is now plinthed at the north entrance of the Chennai Egmore Station. She is placed incorrectly in such a position that the cab end faces a tree and an auto stand before it. It is very convinient for the autowallah's to show their respect to the mightly ex-ruler by sitting (and doing other things) on top of it.

The movement of the power-car was done in such haste that the shell is dented (as it was lifted without padding) and placed on the track.

It totally beats me as to why IR can't maintain a small MG electric section for tourists (with a couple of EMUs running). This has enough heritage value for MG loves like myself!
