The Red Ribbon express under construction. The redness will appear soon! :-)
One can see 6 coaches of the Red Ribbon express here, another one was added shortly and two EOG cars on either ends will be added a day before departure.
Here she comes, carrying a new coat of paint, GZB WAP 4 #22612 slowly glides into PF 1 of DSJ with the Red Ribbon express.
GZB WAP 4 #22612 shines under the morning light as it proudly waits with the RRE express. Tonight this train will leave for Alwar - not with the same loco obviously ;-).
This is what I call face off ;-)! The Asst. LP of the RRE express exchange flags with the Asst. LP of a tiger face WAG 7 hauled freighter.
CNB WAP 4 #22584 with its front panto in action arrives at DSJ with the Shram Shakti which must have arrived at NDLS an hour ago while some commoners while away their time not even realising that there is a very intresting train (the Red Ribbon express) o
My mom giving an interview for some news channels when the train pops into Safdarjung station.
As we enter one of the exhibition coaches, we get to see 2 maps: one which gives the details of the AIDS affected areas in India and another one showing the route and places the RRE express is going to cover.
This is the auditorium coach where certain people are brought in to be shown clips, coverage's and movies.
This is the councelling coach. Various people who need counseling about AIDS or further details are brought here to be briefed by experts.
This is the sleeper coach for the volunteers who will travel in the train. It's a typical 3rd ac coach.
