NEW YEAR! 2004-01-02, I went to Habibganj (HBJ) station, Bhopal's second station. From the foot overbridge, two rakes were basking in the winter sun — the HBJ JBP Jan Shatabdi and HBJ NZM Bhopal Express. Habibganj, 2004-01-02. By Udit Patidar.

Sandeep, very often catenary is laid out only upto to the point where the electric loco comes to pick up its rake - not beyond that. Bombay Central washing lines have a similar arrangement. Also, if you look at this photo closely, the overhangs from the tress prevent any catenary structures from being erected - unless of course they cut them down - which thankfully they havent done!

That is a real good find! I didn't notice that at all either. Maybe the locos were shunted from the front.

This is weird. The next photograph shows the Electric engines attached to these two rakes but you can't see any catenary wire over here.
