Three WCG/2 bankers help the 1009 Sinhagad Express overtake the 6011 Mumbai-Chennai Express, as the former pulls out of Karjat, late by an hour. These bankers allow the local population to "footplate" (ride the cab) till Lonavla, a custom that has become so typical that its impossible to find crew-only WCG/2 locomotives in this stretch! |

Three WCG/2 locomotives finish the light run from Lonavla to Karjat as they decelerate through the station. These locomotives had both styles of pantograph design, the older diamond <> and the newer Faiveley AX-style ones >. Their future seems uncertain, once the lines get powered to 25-KV AC. |
