Wankaner is an important station to transfer the table salt
from MG lines to BG lines for the rest of the country. Here is a
view of the BG lines, the tank wagon is used to transport water to
arid areas on the way while the white sacks of salt can be seen
loaded in the box wagons. A few wasted split sacks lie on the
ground near the first two box wagons. |

The ramp line next to the loco shed. This MG line is used to
transfer MG wagons and locos to BG flat wagons when they are sent
to Ahmedabad for periodic overhaul. Two of the locos to be scrapped
are waiting on the line at the left. |
