The GIT yard at Ghorpadi, Pune is located in the area enclosed by the double lines to Daund and the single line to Miraj. This particular track connects the GIT yard with the Daund line so that the freight trains can leave and arrive in the yard without affecting the main line traffic. A similar freight train track exists on the Miraj line also. May 2003
