ERS locos started getting Raj livery sometime after 1996, when the TVC Raj link was allotted to the shed. I still remember TVC Raj used to be hauled from TVC to ED by ERS locos with matcing livery, when the service was through MAS. Green livery was adopted many years earlier to match the color of Push Pull passengers; in the beginning only locos assigned for these passengers had this livery but later became standard livery of the shed. This livery is much better than the present Raj without doubt

Jimmy,thanks a lot for taking pains to ask permission and upload these photos.Hope they(like the brown ED loco,green yellow ERS loco and Shatabdi WAM-4)are perserved in our server.

18699R. Is this a WDM 3A or a WDM 2? GOC had just one WDM 3A which was transferred to ED recently. If a WDM 3A, GOC has started receiving this class again

IMHO!! the dull effect brings back old world charm. The first thing I did was check the date when photo was taken.
