Guys. you could also have taken some more time and recorded the token exchange at night. The timings suggest that there are atleast 2 instances

Have seen the khalasis standing behind the rail rather than in front of it. which is the correct and safe method?

The Khalasis are behind the iron rail and in this album all of them are in front of the iron rail. Which one is safer? from the khalasis point of view

Excellent shots... reminded me of my trip with Rohit Mohan to Hosadurga Road to capture token exchange and semaphores but unfortunately we arrived a week too late.. The token exchange was history there but the semaphores were present

@Dilip - The signal posts are powered by electricity for the motor to operate the semaphore arm and illuminate the aspects at night.
