Great pic, Jimmy! The flower arrangement LED lamps really leave their mark!

Thanks a lot for the comments. WDM 3D's have lost their identity since WDP 4 type head lamps are no longer fitted on them. The newer WDM 3D's look almost same like WDM 3A's, especially on the SH side. The LH looks different though, with the extended walkways

sandeep,i think the headlamps seen on the older DM3Ds were the same unit that are there on the WDP/WDG4 series.

The newer WDM3D's look like regular WDM3A locomotives. The first lot of WDM3D's feature something like a magnification lens as the headlamp cover. Looks "ogle" eyed

Lovely snap! The 3Ds have always come with a twin-beam arrangement, never single.

majestic...seems like the regular twin beams have become a standard fitment for all the newer 3D roll outs...

Don't think so. Not all WDM3Ds are with ED. Many more sheds are receiving them.

Is it a transfer from ED shed? I feel so because- 1. Livery matches with that of ED WDM-3Ds and 2. WDM-3Ds 11xxx are supposed to be with ED only. Experts may throw light on this.
