Excellent picture. Nice blue background with smoking YP. The wheel on the top especially looks very nice. What is the purpose of the wheel?

I forgot to add, that in those days Ashram used to be double headed. Look at the MU cables on the YDM 4

Interesting pic and video. Look at the BOXN on the ramp in the background. Maybe they brought coal. Any idea what the art in the smoke deflector meant? Was it logo of some steam shed? The driver of this YP seems to be scaring off the lady!

Another classic shot! Brings back fond memories of my first encounter with this train at Varanasi station (1978, I think). At the time, it used to run between Gorakhpur and Varanasi, and all coaches had the cream-blue livery. Later on, it got extended to Allahabad City.
