Also, there is no chance for an ERS loco to go all the way till ECoR territory. If it was a WDM 2, it maybe remotely possible but the WDM 7 will never ever go there

Bizzy, you spotted something else. Only 15 WDM 7's were built, all were homed at ERS once. Now, 8 are at ERS, 7 at TNP and GOC. WDM 7's can be seen only in SR. They have road nos 11001 to 11015. They are infact smaller than WDM 2's.

It must be slightly taller than WDM2s - today I saw a same loco in the very same livery at BBS with a road number of 110XX (was raining hard & I couldnt read too well) attached to standars WDM2s (#16XXX). The WDM7 was about 1.5 ft (guessing) taller than WDM2s.

This loco is not out from DCW anyway. Ed seems to paint some of thier locos in this livery and design. I doubt whether ED has painted this loco or GOC, after some major overhaul

I had spotted this loco with the 2051 DR-MAO jan shatabdhi in Feb this year. Those days the loco was with ED. THe image is somewhere in the server!

Of late, ED seems to have lost their consistency in the liveries they paint on to their beasts. Some locos have yellow instead of the cream, some have different whiskers!!!
