Hey Gautam...... Yeah the camera was on a curb supported by two rocks....which held it steady. I was aware of the danger of risks of assorted liquids falling on my camera but i chose to take a risk. Watch out for my next high speed video, where i'll keep the camera between the ballast with a plastic sheet covering it.

Camera on timer and set on the ground? Good way to get close without endangering yourself but, remember, that loose ballast and dust thrown up by the passing train can damage the lens/equipment. The camera can also be bathed in "assorted liquids" coming...
