After an ardous journey straight from Delhi, I finally arrive in the port town of Ratnagiri in Coastal Maharashtra to start my Konkan sojourn. The first train was the Madgaon bound Janshatabdi led by Ernakulam's rebuilt WDM-3A snaking into Pf 1 about 15 min late. The Special Karmali shatabdi was just following the Janshatabdi Express.
