A view of the first catch siding from the top – the down line emerging from the Tunnel 25C can also be seen.
The large tank shown in this map of 1929 is visible in the pic. While the reversing station was in operation, the trains took the path through the present day road tunnel (there are two adjacent road tunnels now) and joined the mainline along the bank of this tank into KAD station.
