We sighted many examples of "real" wildlife during our trek. This is a Chinkara (Indian Gazelle) of genus Gazella Gazella Bennett – the shy, graceful and very fast moving animal can be seen on the path near the small tree in the center of the image. This is not a protected wildlife sanctuary but the actual wilderness itself!
The MG alignment (seen on the right going into yet another massive cutting) runs in area with real wildlife - big cats are rumoured to prowl these areas after dark.
