The Twisty Road to Salem

The twisty tracks between Bangalore and Salem are to be seen to be believed !
On the 3rd March 2007, IRFCA members from Bangalore, Chennai and Pune enjoy an entire day traveling from Bangalore to Salem and back on the 572/571 passenger.
The pictures are shot by many IRFCA members whose names are mentioned along with the photographs.

To the right of this place is the guard’s toilet. The guard’s loo door always has a clear window, through which he could watch the brake pressure gauges even if he in the act. (Apurva)

I once took the long way from Chennai to Bangalore via Salem, just for the heck of it and was rewarded by this delightful line. Twisty is right - I doubt there is a straight section that is more than 500 m long!
