Final Images from the Ratangarh - Sardarshahr MG line
After a pretty comfortable halt the train departs finally and the LP makes sure there is no one still to board as they slow down or even stop to take up passengers (Trayambak Ojha)
As we were chasing the train we took up various vantage positions to get a variety of shots. I decided to climb a high sand dune to shoot the MG train through the desert landscape with greenery in patches due to monsoons (Trayambak Ojha)
The train to Ratangarh enters a grade which also lied on an S curve. This section has alot of S curves (Trayambak Ojha)
(Sid)
After a brief break we again position ourselves to capture the train at the best points. We were lucky that the LP notched up right on time as it curved out of the sand dunes (Trayambak Ojha)
The terrain was extremely sandy and we had to walk a lot to reach S curves and dune heights (Trayambak Ojha)
An attempted pan shot of the afternoon service to Ratangarh as it departs Dulrasar.
At this small hamlet amidst the desert the train negotiates a very sharp curve and needed some notching as well resulting in a nice smoke belching from it's engine (Trayambak Ojha)
