A trip to the land of BNDM and VSKP Alcos

In order to explore a diesel paradise dominated by Bondamunda and Visakhapatnam diesels in the state of Orissa, we discovered some very picturesque locations near Sambalpur and then travelled upto Koraput to experience the famous Rayagada - Koraput section. Rayagada-Koraput Passenger

And here starts one of the most adventurous journey of my life, our RGDA-KRPU passenger led by a clean VSKP WDM-3A # 18932 branches off the mainline at Singapur Road and starts to climb the mighty eastern ghats on the way to Koraput (Ujjawal Kashyap)

A couple of Kms before Koraput, our train came to halt and intensity of braking was such that it made us curious and upon reaching the loco, we found this - Our train had hit a bolero at unmanned LC, no causality thankfully!! (Ankit Bharaj)

Super shiny VSKP WDM-3A # 18932 completes its tiring journey with the Rayagada-Koraput Passenger, just few minutes ago we hit a Bolero and there is not even a single dent over the loco!!

I love this Section like anything and I like to travel any number of times on this section. Congrats for having covered my 'hot favourite section' with 36 Tunnels. The tunnel just before Lelligumma is the longest on this...
