Day-3. The Solitary Meter Gauge Rail Bus of Uttar Pradesh

This was the most exciting part of our trip the Rail Bus of smaller gauge. Indara to Dohrighat is another branch line where a Rail Bus is operational for a small 30 kilometer distance. There was a Meter Gauge DMU as well but it was not operational that day. The location can be found here

3 Different types of trains in one frame but the one in the left excited us more. As we landed on Day-3 at Indara we were greeted with the MGG DMU live but in idle mode for the day. The smaller star, MG Rail Bus peeps from behind (Trayambak Ojha)

After manually closing and the opening of the level crossing the train moved to it's destination. The greenery was the highlight of all the sections we travelled (Trayambak Ojha)

The reflection of past and the shadows of future looms large over this section with gauge conversion imminent (Trayambak Ojha)

The train in these sections were punctual unlike the earlier ones. We had to directly head to Dohrighat and the exit and entry of crowds signalled popularity of the service (Trayambak Ojha)

The great banyan tree and the meter gauge train. Interestingly how the people of this great country are adept to adjusting. A while ago it seemed there was hardly any space for so many people but within minutes the entire crowd adjusted themselves inside
