The Mega Meter Gauge Sojourn of Bihar & UP

This monsoon we set out on the Hinterlands around the River Ganges and it's tributaries to capture a Rail species on a fastrack of extinction, The Meter Gauge sections of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh over a span of 4 days. In these days we travelled right across the heartland of Bihar to the Eastern and Northern fringes of uttar Pradesh and very close to the Nepal Border. In general our modus operandi is simple which comprises of comandeering a vehicle and then chase the train through the sections where motorable roads run almost parallel to the Railway line and precisely we stuck to this plan.
