After recovering from the wedding it was once again time to head trackside to Survali station which had long been on my list of places to visit. Upon arriving I ran into Harris Kiran from Bangalore, it seems I always have the good luck to run into local railfans when 1000s of miles from home! I had planned my time to capture as many ALCO hauled trains as possible and the first capture of the day was Delhi to Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani 12432 with its distinctive GOC (Golden Rock shed) WDP3A. These locos don't look like ALCOs but it certainly sounded like one coming through Survali at full throttle.
