CS 773 Krishnanagar City

One of four diminutive 2-4-0T tank locos that worked the 28 Km long narrow gauge (2'6") line from Shantipur to Nabadwip Ghat in West Bengal, CS 773 was built in Stafford, England by WG Bagnall in 1926 and was photographed 52 years later taking water at Krishnanagar City station, where there was interchange with an Eastern Railway electrified broad gauge line, early on the morning of 1979.02.03
