David, the railway lines of Gwalior city in a map like this http://www.mapsofindia.com/maps/madhyapradesh/gwalior.htm were always confusing to me because BG and NG were not clearly marked. Thanks for clearing the confusion.

Vivek, Gwalior has always been important in history (Tansen was from here) and more so since the Scindias took over in the 18th century. And with the coming of the Railways, the Scindia State Railway (Narrow gauge) had the town as a hub with lines...
