A Christmas novelty for you. Browsing through my photos this shot of an AWD 2-8-0 at Mettupalaiyam reminded me what an international loco this represents. Built for the United States Army as a'war' loco by Alco, Lima and Baldwin, and known by the class type S160, it was exported all over the world.IR class MAWD on MG was similarly a 'war' loco.
