A sad tale of neglect and despair. The South East Central Railway maintained NG railway museum seems to have been derailed with complete official lack of interest. And this after several lakhs of rupees have been invested in the project. IRFCAian Jaideep Gupta and the previous DRM had been at the core of the project until they were transferred elsewhere and the soon after project 'stalled'. This museum was built on what remained of the old dual gauge steam shed at Nagpur. Motibagh, Nagpur, October 2003. By Vinod Bawne, Provided By Alok Patel.
