Glories of steam and of days gone by: the then prestigious Taj Express takes on water at Mathura, circa 1982. The Taj was steam hauled for a very long time. It ran with diesel for only two odd years before electric took over. The train is now a pitiful shadow of its former glory, and starts from Nizamuddin, running all the way to Gwalior.#AUTH1#John Lacey#AUTH2#.
