A WCM-5 model built by me back in 1997 is still my all time favourite. The visible livery was then newly adopted to match that of the Mumbai-Pune trains. Luckily there were a few locos then that were in service. The model has a working light assembly. The wires seen are internal ones but have been pulled out for some repair. Hello Neil, No the locos do not run. I thought of making that possible but again could not :-( I sure didn't document the building procedure. At that time my only aim was to have a real life model in front of my eyes so that I dont have to go train...

Excellent work, Nikhil! I presume the locos do not run...if you've made step by step instructions on building this loco, you can post it (or sell?) it to enthusiasts.
