But I think IR should become less stringent about standards and should keep a bare minimum standard for such work while allowing sheds and zones some freedom in designing the rest of the schemes. This way, IR gets what it wants and so does everyone else. For example, the Railway Board should specify exactly how the numbers must be written on the front of the loco while leaving it to the shed to decide how it must be painted on the sides according to their own paint schemes.

This does not seem to follow any of these. Was this a trial or prototype of the 6P+DB+HS version WAM 4? The Humanoid symbol still exist on some WAM 4's of AJJ, transferred from Tata
