Blast from the past - Erode's 17711 waits at Ernakulam Jn with an Anyhydrous Ammonia train, so common in the days this pic was taken. Maroon ED WDM 2's with white detailing are memories now. Note the absence of OHE wires at ERS. Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd, who operated these tankers no longer produce Anhydrous Ammonia; all of these tanks were scrapped.
