This pic is virtually my first shot at train photography, so I did not realise the significance of a closer and frontal shot of the diesel. As is evident a WAG-7 was hauling a dead WAG-7 and a WDM-2. Nothing great about that, but the WDM-2 #16636 is one of the few (or maybe the only ??) WDM-2 belonging to the Shakubasti shed (which otherwise houses all the WDS-4s in and around Delhi). The letters SSB (Code for Shakubasti) can be faintly discerened on the short hood. 2000. Avimanyu Pyne.

Hi, are you sure it was Shakurbasti (SSB)? #16636 is a TKD loco (as in 2003) and the livery of this loco is the same as the erstwhile TKD livery.

Nice livery on the WDM2. Some shed should have tried it. Lucknow had a variant but that didn't look too good.
