The restaurant car attached to the EIR Imperial Mail. Although this was the Imperial Mail, there was very little difference in the comfort and décor between this and the restaurant cars attached to the other long distance trains on the East Indian Railway, except there were no lamps on each table while this restaurant car had corridor access to the rest of the train as the Imperial Mail was the only corridor train to run in India during the Raj.
