Be it summer, winter or rains , it just doesn't matter to them. Every time a train approaches , this man will stand up and blow the whistle of safety and ensure that everything is fine. Our railways work because of these guys. A salute to the Gangmen. The train in the background is the southbound Konark Express. (CG)

Avishek :- Yes there's a refuge there as said by Mr K.Gupta. Gangmen monitoring the railway activity stay over there for their duties.

There would be refuge points inside the tunnels just like they are on bridges.

Is the distance between the side wall of the tunnel and the track is safe? What if a train comes? Can a person stand safely if a train is running on the adjacent track?
