The express smokes away to Dhaka from Kolkata. The LHF BWN AlCo notched when that green signal was given. Note a few things:
1. Signal is green despite the loco cleared the section. It is a non-automatic color light signaling area
2. Rake length has been reduced from 7 to 6. Zoom in to find the composition: SLR/PC/2S, 2S, Mid-On-Generator Car, 1A, CC, SLR/2S. It has definitely to do with the patronage issue raised by ER and BR
3. Reservation charts are pasted in the narrow space between the door and the end of the carriage
4. The lower half of the 2S window can not be opened, it’s better to travel by the Indian rake then
5. Spotting this rake is a nice break from the regular electrics of this section

Very nice photo of the rear portion of the train. Your effort of climbing up the hill have really produced great result.

That signal could be a Distant in which case it would assume the yellow aspect when the train passes the next signal which should be the Home.Distant signals do not have their own Track Circuits due to which they cannot be made to return to yellow...
That signal could be a Distant in which case it would assume the yellow aspect when the train passes the next signal which should be the Home.Distant signals do not have their own Track Circuits due to which they cannot be made to return to yellow automatically. Also it seems unlikely that in an electrified double line section,a non-track circuited semi-automatic signal would be provided.
