Here you see Central Railway's 2 versions of retrofitted ACDC EMU. Seen on left in Red - Grey with 2 yellow stripes livery is the 1st Retrofitted ACDC EMU 3004C using transformer-rectifier technology preserving its earlier DC system And on the right is 3001C Retrofitted EMU coach with circuitry to match with balance 11 Siemens / MRVC ACDC Coaches. I timed myself today after videographing this new train at 1:50pm today and returned by 3:20pm back towards CSTM. Both - the entire 9car rake on left side and only the cab coach on right side were earlier pure DC EMU. CR has redesigned the cabs faces like MRVC. Paintjob on the new rake on left side is also really good. Roof was not painted. It was only clean. (Vijay Aravamudhan)
