These are the pics of some of the finest locos in service i.e WAP series. These pics were taken at Anand Vihar halt, a small station on the periphery of Delhi, lying on east bound line from NDLS . One can see a lot of high speed action in the evening at this place, as a lot of high speed trains pass from here . Click on the thumbnails to view full size images.

A healthier looking WAP4 ( No. 22314)
from CNB shed crosses with 5206 NDLS - Muzaffarpur , Lichchavi Express .
With a creative approach towards
photography I took this shot of 2302 NDLS - HWH Rajdhani being hauled by WAP4
(No. 22320) from HWH. If you notice on the bottom right corner of the loco you
can see a repainted spot where the previous shed was mentioned and it seems like
HWH people clumsily painted the new name over the old one.
Same loco but a pic with a better result .
Bewarned a little shaky camera and a
high speed train can lead to disastrous photography results. I learned this
after this shot and a series of other shots also. By the way the train in this
pic is 2314 NDLS - SLDH Rajdhani express and the loco is WAP5 ( No. 30000) the
first of the series from GZB shed.
