BNSF ACTION
This page contains the pics of BNSF trains passing through the small town of Canyon, TX.
These Pics were shot by Sundar 'Railnut' Krishnamurthy, during his visit up here.
This line is the mainline which connects LA to New York. As a result, this line entertains heavy freight traffic per day, ranging from 25 to 50 trains per day.
So, Enjoy a glimpse.
A
BNSF freight approaches level crossing at around 30 Mph (45KmPH), with horns
blaring.
At the head is the loco Dash944CW, the workhorse of BNSF and their Intermodal ( Container) Service.
A, Z class, high
priority freight as it disappears over an S - curve.
Z - class means that it gets 4 Locos for 48 coaches :-).
The train from the first pic, as it has covered more distance. Notice the Double
stacked containers.
This is the thing which you don't see on IR and is limited to US railroads only.
