Ceremony was held on Pf.8 , Bangalore City Jn. KJM WDM2 (nick named pretty bird) will do the honours. Roses had been stuck all over the train , giving an impression of a 'baraath' meaning a ' bridegroom's party going for the marriage !! '.

This was a very significant event , as is evident from the powerful VVIP presence on the dias. The front of loco is decorated to resmble a sacred entrance. Something like a gate to heaven !!  Also you can see two huge traditinal oil lamps on either side.
