On 24th , November , 2002  a function was held at Bangalore city station to inaugurate the super express. This train would give a fast connection between Hubli & Bangalore , covering the distance of 450 kms in 7 hrs. Average speed of 65 kmph with MPS only 90kmph. Amazing  is'nt it !!.
