Videos of Diesel Hauled Trains : Page 1

First set of diesel(ALCo) videos of passenger trains, mostly hauled by Indian built ALCo WDM2 class diesels running on broad guage. Also look out for the sole exception of a meter guage train hauled by YDM4, which is also an Indian built ALCo. Click here for video still image of Sai Express KJM WDM2A 17687(Same loco as in Tippu Express video above) hauled 6504 Sri Sai Prashanthi Niliyam Exp accelerating through Baiyappanahalli, a suburb of Bangalore, after having made an unscheduled stop. The famous ALCo exhaust on display here. Transiton kicking in is quite apparent in this video where the throttle is cut off for a very brief moment between seconds 31 and 32.
