Part 1: Salem passenger powered by a WDM3a of Erode shed, climbing the famous CSDR bypass ramp
which connects the mainline with the Banaswadi-Salem line. BYPL control room can be see in the
distance on the right. Note the wrong gradient marker to the left of the loco, just below the
cyclist standing there, with the arrow pointing down when infact it is an up gradient. The
driver approaches the ramp with no power. This video has been split into 3 parts because of the
length of the video.

Part 2: The train continues to climb with a lot of screeching because of the WDM3a wheel flanges rubbing against
the rail. It is a very tight curve. Here the driver opens the throttle a little bit. This was shot
from the top of the rail over bridge of the salem line. Folks are playing Kabaddi in the foreground
oblivious of the fine action happening behind.

Part 3: The driver opens the throttle fully after all the coaches clears the ramp.

This video is a panoramic view of the CSDR bypass shot from the top of the rail over bridge of the salem line.
First the 2 electrified main lines can be seen heading towards SBC. Then the ramp connecting the main line with
the Salem line. Then you can see the Channasandra Bye-Pass control room. This is a proper station
with a station master and all. But with no platforms! Then you can see the main line to Chennai
passing under the brand new flyover that connects the ring road with old Madras road. Then you can see
the line heading north towards Guntakal to the left of the the main line. All these points are controlled
by the Channasandra Bye-Pass control room which is pretty impressive. Then finally ending with
the salem line heading towards Banaswadi and Yeshwanthpur. This line is presently in disuse.

A long string of 4 wheeler tanker train headed by a Pune WDG2 and KJM WDM2. I am not sure if they are mued
because the trailing WDM2 did not respond to the throttle. Possibly the trailing WDM2 is used for protection instead of a wagon.
