it seems the voice in background was trying to tell gentleman that the train was coming at 150kmph..well! what else do you expect a railfan to have on top of his head...one wonders whether the photographer would have shared the photo had the outcome had been negative????

My god. Great capture. The woman would have been pulp if she was milliseconds late! Look how the sardar next to them reacts. And how the couple react. Great stuff!!

I dont want to waste any words for that couple-these people will never change.Whether it is 150 kph shatabdi or EMU entering Park station at 30 kph-it will kill you if you fall before it.And at last the driver/motorman has to live with the guilt of "killing" someone.

Hey Gautam...... Yeah the camera was on a curb supported by two rocks....which held it steady. I was aware of the danger of risks of assorted liquids falling on my camera but i chose to take a risk. Watch out for my next high speed video, where i'll keep the camera between the ballast with a plastic sheet covering it.

Camera on timer and set on the ground? Good way to get close without endangering yourself but, remember, that loose ballast and dust thrown up by the passing train can damage the lens/equipment. The camera can also be bathed in "assorted liquids" coming out of various places in the coaches!! ;-)
