the red (keroscene/battery) lamps are mandatory, but i guess only at nights, or on ghat sections...& i also a flashing red light is mandatory. most mail/express trains i've seen do not have the red lamp on the SLR bogies on, however, the flickering red...

It is mandatory to have a Red, Kerosine powered or Battery powered Lamp at the last Coach which happens to be the Gaurds post. LV. I dont see one ?
