The full form of LHB is Linke-Hoffmann-Busch. The company was started by the first gentleman Mr. Linke in Breslau Poland way back in late 1800. After many fusions, mergers and joint venture agreements the company now belongs to Alstom group.

These LHB coaches are fireproof ones designed by Alsthom Motors of Germany.
It was introduced after the fire incident in the Golden Temple Mail towards Amritsar.
