The Kovai to Madras tears by with a furious ED WAP-4 flashing for all its worth! Definately the fastest in this section toward MAS.Circa Oct 2005.

I'm not sure about the earlier number of AC's on Kovai, but for the last couple of years it has been a single CC. Kovai and Intercity (Bangalore-Coimbatore) share rakes which interchange at CBE.

Is the Kovai down to only ONE AC Chair Car nowadays?? I've seen both this and the MAS-CBE Intercity run with 2 AC Chair Cars. Is this regular now?
