John Lacey's photo of the YL on the Toda Rai Singh branch remined me that when I saw the train in 1994 the YLs had been replaced by YG and the former languished in Jaipur shed. Here a YG driver drops his loco into gear and sets off with a number of last minute passengers jumping aboard. Note the typical additional water tank for this dry region.

I never knew that YG worked that line. I'd always assumed that their axle load was too heavy.
