The platforms at Sabarmati Jn. are located at the edges off the yard. The eastern side hosts the BG - MG parallel line to Kalol via Kali Road. The MG line can be seen crossing the BG via a diamond crossing as the mail curves in.

Superb shot!!! This is a very unique Cross-over, there was one at Villupuram Jn. in Tamilnadu, where the MG line ran parallel to the BG line from Tambaram in Chennai to Villupuram and the MG line crossed the BG line and proceeded towards Mayiladuthurai as main-line and the BG line went to VRI as chord-line!
