I truly was in heaven in a small quaint hamlet called Dasgaon in the Konkan region Maharashtra. A small and close knit society of all faiths dwells on a small hill next to Savitri river. they are extremely hardworking Marathi people who have learnt to live with nature and rugged life conditions. The women of this small village work tenaciously even as the setting is lazy and serene. Seen here is the South-bound TVC Rajdhani express gliding over the Savitri river covered still in the morning mist even as the Moon ( extreme left) refuses to say goodbye for the day.
