From the trip dated 24th March 2007. Question: What has this picture got to do with the railways ? Answer: This is how the first ventilation shaft (from Mumbai side) of the Tunnel 25C looks like !
Locations: Khandala hill top. The satellite map references coming soon. The place can be found by looking for the tract of land in between these electric pylons - these are the Railway's own feeders, the SE1 and SE2. The vertical concrete pillars could be the tunnel top markers, although they have no text on them. By contrast, some distance away, the same tunnel has the markers with the letter "T" on them.
